    What's Your Time Worth? - Episode 2

We’re back with another episode of What’s Your Time Worth?

As always, the goal of this series is to answer one question:

How much time can Park Prophet actually save you—and what is that time worth?

For Episode 2, we’re heading to Epcot, which is currently hosting the International Food & Wine Festival and is one of Disney World’s most popular parks this time of year.

Just like last time, we’ll use Park Prophet’s AI-powered planner to compare an optimized route with a route someone might typically take through the park.

For consistency, we’ll use the same basic assumptions as our control:

    • Family of four

    • Approximately $1,075 in total vacation spending per day, based on a roughly $7,500 one-week trip

    • Eight hours spent in the park each day

    • About $135 of vacation value per hour

    • Starting from the park entrance

    • A counter-clockwise control route covering 10 of Epcot’s most popular attractions

Here was our Park Prophet comparison for October 5, 2026 at Epcot:

    The Result

The control route took approximately 51 minutes longer than the route optimized by Park Prophet.

At $135 per hour, those 51 minutes represent about $114.75 worth of vacation time saved.

A Park Prophet Weekly Pass costs just $4.99, meaning that in this example, using Park Prophet for a single day at a single park delivered more than 20 times the cost of the pass in time saved alone.

And that only accounts for the value of the time itself.

Those extra 51 minutes could mean fitting in another attraction, grabbing another Food & Wine Festival snack, spending more time exploring the park, or simply getting back to the hotel a little earlier after a long day.

Anyone who has spent a full day at Epcot walking around the World Showcase knows the step count can be high, and feet can get tired earlier than we would like.

The takeaway is simple: even relatively small improvements to your park strategy can add up quickly.

When you’ve already invested thousands of dollars in a vacation, getting more enjoyment out of the limited hours you have in the parks can make a meaningful difference.

And this was just one day, at one park.

In the next episode, we’ll run the same experiment somewhere new and see how much time Park Prophet can save there.
